Officials take part in mock arm wrestling bout

It was a rare sight to see officials engage with each other in a bout of arm wrestling.

During the inauguration of Dasara Arm Wrestling Competition at D. Devaraj Urs Multipurpose Stadium in Mysuru on Monday, Deputy Commissioner D. Randeep took part in a mock arm wrestling bout with Inspector-General of Police (Southern Range) Vipul Kumar.

Similar bouts were conducted between Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) Commissioner G. Jagadeesha and Superintendent of Mysuru district police Ravi Channanavar and between Karnataka Exhibition Authority (KEA) Chairman Siddaraju and Mayor M.J. Ravi Kumar. Later, the arm wrestling competitions were held in which a total of 74 men and 28 women participated.
