‘Not interested in ministership’

May 22, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:50 am IST - Hassan:

The former Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa has ruled out the possibility of becoming a Minister in the Union Cabinet.

“I do not want to be a Minister. I am not aiming the post of BJP State president either. I am concentrating only on strengthening the party in the State so that it comes back to power,” he told presspersons here on Thursday.

To a question, he said that the reports of his party leaders trying to sideline him were not true.

“I have been made national vice-president. It is an honourable position. I will travel across the State to motivate the party workers,” he said.
