Around 1,330 students wrote the Common Law Admission Test-2017 in Bengaluru and Mysuru on Sunday.
Across the country, nearly 47,106 candidates wrote the online exam that serves as an entrance test to 18 law universities. “There were no hassles,” said Venkat Rao, Vice-Chancellor, NLSIU.
The entrance test proved tricky for some, with many struggling to complete 200 questions within the allotted time of two hours.
Smrithi Ravindran, a student from Deccan International School, said the GK section was challenging.
For many students, CLAT is just one in a series of competitive examinations written over the past month.
After having written both CET, for engineering institutions, and NEET, for medical colleges, Simran S., a student from Dayanand Sagar School, even wrote CLAT on Sunday. \
Gayathri Raj said while law continues to be her singular interest, her backup plan is to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
