NIE, THiS schools shine

It was celebration time for schools that are part of ‘The Hindu in School’ (THiS) programme, as they achieved a 100 per cent pass percentage in both the ICSE and ISC examinations.

In Presidency School, Nandini Layout, 104 of 105 students secured distinctions. The school secured an average percentage of 90.9 per cent. Prerana Das, by securing 97.83 per cent, emerged the school topper. Ritika Agrawal came second with a close 97.67 per cent.

In the class 10 examinations, all the 216 students of St. Joseph’s Boys’ High School, Museum Road, passed. Pratik A. Shah, by securing 97.17 per cent, is the school topper, while Anirudh Nagraj, with 96.66 per cent, stood second. In the class 12 examinations, all the 107 students passed. Mark Ryan D’Souza and Tejas Kumar R., both securing 96.4 per cent have emerged as toppers in the science stream. In the commerce stream, Arihant Dugar is the school topper with 95.4 per cent.

Ganga International School, Nelagadaranahalli, also saw a 100 per cent pass percentage. Balaji A., with 90.5 per cent, is the school topper, while Sandesh Tiwari, with 90.3 per cent, secured the second rank.

Insight Academy too achieved 100 per cent pass results, with all its students securing a first class. Rohan M., who scored 93 per cent, is the school topper, while Anugna B., who scored 87.33 per cent, came second.

At Dayananda Sagar International School, Kumaraswamy Layout, many students secured distinctions. Afreen Iqbal with a score of 92 per cent is the school topper. In Presidency School, R.T. Nagar, all the 127 students have passed with first class. In all, 91 students secured an above 90 percentage. Prakyath D. Ullal, by securing 98.4 per cent, has emerged the school topper.
