The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has decided to jump into poll fray in Karnataka by fielding around 24 candidates.
Speaking at a press conference held here recently, Peerpasha Gachimahal, district president and Vijayapura city candidate, said that party president Sharad Pawar has announced to field three candidates in the district.
Mr. Gachimahal said that apart from himself, the party has given ticket to Shamshuddin Mulla from Sindgi and Kempegouda Keshappagol from Devarahipparagi constituency.
Mr. Gachimahal also informed that in the coming days, Mr. Pawar was going to visit the district to campaign for the candidates here.
