‘National growth depends on quality of its human resource’

India has the chance to emerge as a super power in the next 20 years and to achieve that goal, the country needs to strengthen its human resources, Higher Education Minister R.V. Deshpande said here on Wednesday, after inaugurating the hostels of the Government Engineering College here.

The government provided Rs. 5 crore for three hostels of the college. The country’s growth would depend on the quality of human resource it has. The State government was giving importance to improving the quality of education through several innovative programmes.
