Chairman Emeritus of Infosys N.R. Narayana Murthy visited his alma mater, Sarada Vilas educational institution, in Krishnamurthypuram here on Friday.
Mr. Murthy, who visited the institution as part of an interview to a private channel, went around the school and college run by the institution, and spoke to students, teachers and the management committee members.
The Infosys founder completed his early education at the school run by the century-old institution.
M.S. Nanda Kumar, member of the management committee, Sarada Vilas Educational Institutions, who accompanied Mr. Murthy during his visit, told The Hindu that Mr. Murthy recollected his childhood days at the school and went around the classrooms where he studied.
Mr. Kumar said the Infosys founder recalled the names of the teachers who taught him at the school. “It was a great pleasure to have Mr. Murthy in our institution. We got an opportunity to interact with him,” he said.
Mr. Murthy obliged when some teachers requested him for a photograph.
