Officials busted a racket involving repacking of Nandini Ghee, manufactured by Karnataka Milk Federation, under a different name in Mysuru.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of officials, comprising representatives from Food and Civil Supplies Department, Department of Legal Metrology and city police, raided a godown in Vijayanagar 3rd stage where Nandini ghee was being refilled into a tin with a different brand name. After interrogating godown owner Shivakumar, the police raided another place in Rajivnagar, where a similar activity was under way.

Both premises have been sealed and cases have been booked against the owner.
