Mysore CFTRI course for animal attendants

Mysore-based CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI) is offering a laboratory animal attendants’ training course for candidates with a pass in 10th standard. The course, beginning next year, aims to cater to the demand of trained animal attendants, according to a press release here. It is a full-fledged training course in handling and maintenance of laboratory animals as per the guidelines of the Committee for the Purpose of Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals (CPCSEA), the release said. The course, which has limited intake, is being offered free. The minimum qualification is a pass in 10th standard and the age limit is 25. Candidates can call Ph: 0821-2514990 for more details.
