MP booked for ‘slapping’ KRRS worker

Mandya Lok Sabha member C.S. Puttaraju, the JD(S) candidate from Melkote Assembly constituency, was on Sunday booked for allegedly slapping a Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha (KRRS) worker at Chinakurali in the district.

K.N. Deekshith, the victim, was allegedly slapped by Mr. Puttaraju during a political campaign for Swaraj India candidate Darshan Puttannaiah at Chinakurali in Pandavapura taluk on Saturday.

According to the Pandavapura police, they have registered an FIR against Mr. Puttaraju.
