Modi to address nine rallies in Karnataka

Announcing the itinerary of Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, senior BJP leader Venkaiah M. Naidu has said that Mr. Modi will address an election campaign meeting in the State on November 16.

He will visit the State eight times till January 16 and address rallies at various district headquarters.

“The venue of the November 16 rally will be made known shortly,” he added.

As part of the preparation for the Lok Sabha elections, the party was holding rallies in all the 28 constituencies from November 20 to December 15 and senior leaders, including the former Deputy Prime Minister L.K. Advani, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj, Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley and party’s national president Rajnath Singh, will address rallies.

Besides, the BJP will hold meetings of party sympathisers and intellectuals in the districts, he added.
