Modi on a two-day State visit from Tuesday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting the state from September 23 for the first time after becoming the Prime Minister.

Mr. Modi will arrive in the HAL airport in Bangalore at 6 p.m. on Tuesday. Soon after his arrival, he will address the workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in front of the airport. The party is also set to felicitate him on the occasion.

He would then go to Raj Bhavan and spend the night. The next morning, Mr. Modi will visit ISRO’s facility at Peenya at 6.45 a.m. Later on, he is scheduled to visit Tumkur to inaugurate the food park which has come up at the industrial estate there.
