On Sunday, he will visit Bijapaur and Belgaum

March 28, 2014 01:54 pm | Updated November 27, 2021 06:54 pm IST - BANGALORE:

Karnataka, the only southern State where the Bharatiya Janata Party has a sizeable presence, appears to be high on the radar of its prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi as he is expected to address nearly 10 more political rallies here.

The schedule for only two of the rallies has been finalised — in Bijapur and Belgaum on Sunday evening. The rest of the rallies and their schedule will be decided shortly. The probable list of constituencies to be addressed by him include Mysore, Chikkodi, Bagalkot and Shimoga. It is learnt that almost all the district units of the BJP and its candidates have sought Mr. Modi’s presence in their constituencies. Though his visit to the State on March 30 is for two rallies, he may visit the State again on April 8 and 10.
