A case of alleged rape of a minor girl by four underaged boys has been reported in Hosapete town on Saturday night. Police have arrested all the four juvenile accused and produced them before the Juvenile Board.
Chetan Singh Rathore, Superintendent of Police, told The Hindu on Sunday that the accused lured the 10-year-old girl with chocolates and allegedly raped her. The accused, a 13-year-old boy, was assisted by three others aged between ten and thirteen.
Based on a complaint by the victim’s mother, Hosapete Town Police have registered a case of rape besides invoking the sections under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act 2012.
