Hyderabad Karnataka and parts of Bombay Karnataka continued to be in the grip of severe heat wave conditions. Raichur recorded the State’s highest maximum temperature of 42 degrees Celsius and highest minimum temperature of 29 degrees Celsius on Tuesday.
As per the observations recorded by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) at 8.30 a.m. on Tuesday, Kalaburagi was close behind Raichur recording a maximum temperature of 41.5 degrees Celsius and a high minimum temperature of 28 degrees Celsius. Bidar recorded a maximum temperature of 41 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 26 degrees Celsius.
Vijayapura in Bombay Karnataka recorded a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 24 degrees Celsius. Ballari also recorded a high maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 26 degrees Celsius.
Koppal in Hyderabad Karnataka and Bagalkot in Bombay Karnataka recorded 39 degrees Celsius maximum temperature. IMD sources said that Hyderabad Karnataka and Bombay Karnataka would experience light to moderate rain in isolated places in the next 24 hours.
