“We have cancelled all the exams for PG courses being held at the centre run by Sri Sai Education Academy following reports of mass copying. We have sought a detailed report from the official deputed by the university. Based on the report, the university will take a decision on the matter, including announcing fresh dates for conducting the exams,” Mr. Naik told The Hindu .

Based on a tip-off, Anirudh Shravan, Assistant Commissioner of Bellary, visited Sharbeshwara Institute of Nursing, where Sri Sai Education Academy was conducting examinations on behalf of the university and found that candidates were indulging in mass copying.
