The Manipal University, Manipal institutions and the teaching departments will observe the “Rashtriya Ekta Diwas” (National Unity Day) on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on October 31.
A variety of programmes will be held to spread the message of unity, safety and security. All students and staff will also be administered the “Rashtriya Ekta Diwas” oath. The entire programme will be coordinated by G.K. Prabhu, Registrar of Manipal University, stated a press release issued here on Thursday.
