A 60-year-old man died while three persons, including a three-month-old infant, sustained minor injuries after their house collapsed on Wednesday at Melinaholegerahalli in Turuvekere taluk in Tumkur district.
The police have identified the deceased as Shivanna (60). His wife Thayamma, their daughter and grandchild were injured in the incident.
The police said that their house collapsed after a wall from the neighbouring house fell on it following heavy rainfall at around 1 a.m. A case has been registered at the Turuvekere police station.
