Bharatiya Janata Party activists (Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes wing) cleaning the Social Welfare Department hostel in Mandya on Wednesday.

Members of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Mandya unit, have urged the inmates of the Social Welfare Department run hostel to maintain cleanliness in their hostel.

The party activists on Wednesday cleaned the hostel premises, Law College here, and removed several bags of waste materials with the support of the hostel inmates.

Hostel inmates should undertake a pledge to keep their hostel premises neat and clean, BJP SC-ST Morcha president Kempa Boraiah said.

The objective of this programme is to involve everybody in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Swachh Bharat mission’, he said. S. Poornachandra, M.S. Paramananda and others were present.
