Lost opportunities

Many candidates from outside the State not only spent thousands of rupees on travel and stay, but also lost the opportunity to appear for another exam scheduled on Sunday. Bappi Swargiary, a student of Pondicherry University, said he chose this test over the NABARD’s preliminary online exam as this sounded more promising. “I wish I had stayed back for the NABARD exam. On Monday, I have another exam and I would have got time to prepare for that. I am not concerned about the money, but upset about the time lost,” he said.
