The Lokayukta Special court on Thursday granted time till October 4 to Lokayukta police to complete investigation and submit a report on JDS leader Y S V Datta’s complaint, alleging financial irregularities by former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa in awarding an irrigation project contract to a private firm.

The judge N K Sudhindra Rao adjourned the hearing to October four.
