11.45:About the Food Park: The food park is a project of the ministry of food processing. It will become operational by December. By next year about 4,000 jobs will be created. Farmers will be able to directly sell their produce at the park. Farmers in Kolar, Shimoga and Tumkar to benefit.

10.40: A man, said to be a Congress worker, who was dressed as Modi was evicted from the area, after BJP workers complained.

10.33: At the convention hall where the inauguration of the food park is taking place, the BJP supporters are seated on one side of the aisle and the Congress supporters are seated on the other side

10.32: The park is expected to act as a bridge between the farmers and consumers.
