Linguistic harmony in border areas

P.T. Parameshwar Naik, Minister of State for Labour and district in-charge, has said that the harmonious relationship between Kannada-speaking people and Telugu-speaking people in the border areas is worth emulating.

He was inaugurating a two-day Andhra Gadinad Kannada Sahitya Sammelana at D. Hirehal village in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh on Sunday. Mr. Naik said that he would speak to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to sanction Rs. 10 lakh for organising pro-Kannada programmes in border areas.
