KVGB opens new branches in Chikkodi taluk

Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank (KVGB) is expanding its operations in villages without banking facilities. Two new branches of the bank was inaugurated by Prakash Hukkeri, MP, at Khadaklat and Shiragaon in Chikkodi taluk on Monday.

Ashok Reddy Nukala, chairman of the bank, said KVGB was playing a major role in extending affordable banking facilities to rural people through its financial inclusion plan.

To serve the community better, the bank had launched ‘dial for account’ service. Those who want to open savings bank account can contact the bank officials on the toll free number 18004251666.

After taking details, the bank will send its representative to the doorsteps of the customers to help them open the account within 48 hours, he added.
