KPCC leaders meet Digvijay Singh

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President G. Parameshwara, former Minister and MLA D.K. Shivakumar, new Lok Sabha MPs D.K. Suresh and Ramya met All India Congress Committee general secretary Digvijay Singh in New Delhi on Tuesday.

Sources in the KPCC said that they, however, could not meet Congress president Sonia Gandhi.

The leaders discussed various issues, including the inclusion of Dr. Parameshwara and Mr. Shivakumar, in the Cabinet and appointing chairmen of corporations and boards, with Mr. Digvijay Singh, the sources added.

It was also said that Ms. Gandhi has signed the order constituting the seven-member Coordination Committee in the State headed by Mr. Digvijay Singh.

The other members are Mr. Siddaramaiah, Dr. Parameshwara, Home Minister K.J. George, Mr. Shivakumar and two AICC secretaries Challakumar and Shantaram Naik.
