KMAT to be held on August 3

The Karnataka Private Postgraduate Colleges’ Association will conduct the Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) on August 3.

Addressing press persons here on Monday, M.R. Hegde, director of Poornaprajna Institute of Management, said the KMAT was mandatory for admission to MBA/PGDM and MCA courses in over 169 member colleges of the association across the State. These colleges are approved and university affiliated. The test will be held at the Poornaprajna Institute of Management in Udupi, and over 14 centres across the State.

The applications forms are available at www.kmatindia.com. The last date to submit the applications at the KMAT office is July 26.

Candidates should send a DD in favour of ‘KMAT 2014’, payable in Bangalore. Candidates applying for either MBA or MCA should send a DD for Rs. 700, while those applying for both MBA and MCA should send a DD for Rs. 1,000. The completed forms should be sent to the secretary, Karnataka Private Postgraduate Colleges’ Association, Seshadripuram First Grade College, CA site no. 26, Yelahanka New Town. Bangalore-64.
