Former Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa today said Karnataka Janata Party (KJP), which he is expected to lead after parting ways with BJP, will contest all 224 seats in the State Assembly elections due early next year.

“I will field KJP candidates in all 224 seats in the next Assembly elections,” the disgruntled BJP leader told reporters at Mantralaya, some 70 kms from Raichur.

Mr Yeddyurappa, who has announced his resolve to quit BJP this month-end, said he was confident of his party reaping rich dividends in the next Assembly polls as regional parties were playing a bigger role in the country’s politics.

Mr Yeddyurappa had last week installed his loyalist V Dhananjaya Kumar as KJP chief. The party is expected to be formally launched at a rally at Haveri on December 9.

Mr Yeddyurappa ruled out alliance with JD(S) and Congress in future elections but would have talks with farmers’ bodies and other organisations for creating an impact in the polls.

Replying to a question, Mr Yeddyurappa said though the Lokayukta report had not indicted him in illegal mining scam, he was forced to resign because party State President K S Eshwarappa and other leaders had sent a “wrong” message to BJP central leaders.

It is the person who was partly responsible to bring the BJP in Power in Karnataka during last election by manipulating the independent candidates dangling before them the post of Ministership. And the same person equally responsible to usher rampant corruption in the administration.Unless there were some proofs against him about his involvement against him he would not have been jailed.Though he is out on Bail as per order of the Court, the case case against him still persists like Fodder-Scam of Laloo Prasad Yadav. The BJP also has lost its face running after Yeddyurappa knowing very well that he is utterly a corrupt man and corrupted other Netas who are his followers. If detail enquiry is made against all of his followers,it would be seen that they also possess huge assets disproportionate to their known sources of Income. But the main question is who is going to bell the Cat?BJP also has lost its face owing to recent implication of its President in Purti-Group incident in Maharastra.

the nation especially karnataka is eagerly awaiting the event of yeddy quitting bjp
and launching of kjp so that karnatak people can live in more peace and prosperity.
Yeddy is not acting and delaying the decision. perhaps bjp offers him the chief
ministership of karnataka , he may dissolve the karnataka janata party. The new party
may be aborted in the womb itself.

Yeddyji is trying to divide BJP's vote bank on caste lines. This will
not help him with a breakthrough in the coming elections. He is
impulsive and takes wrong decisions. GOD save Yeddyji.
