Urban cooperative institutions and the K.H. Patil Abhimanigala Balaga on Sunday observed the 90th birth anniversary of the former Minister and Congress leader the late K.H. Patil.
The former Chairman of the Legislative Council V.R. Sudarshan said Patil practised value-based politics throughout his career. He was in the forefront of the cooperative movement in his town of Hulkoti in Gadag, he said. In memory of his contributions to the agriculture sector, the Krishi Vignyan Kendra was established in Hulkoti and named after him.
