KGB opens four branches in Mandya district

Additional Deputy Commissioner B.R. Poornima on Thursday inaugurated the 427th branch of the Kaveri Grameena Bank (KGB) at Kallahalli.

Speaking on the occasion, she said that the people should improve their financial stability by availing themselves of the benefits that were available with the bank.

The bank had opened 54 branches in Mandya district. On Thursday, it opened a branch at Kallahalli and three more branches in Malavalli taluk.

With this, the number of KGB branches increased to 58 in the district, she said.

Ms. Poornima complimented the KGB for sanctioning loans to farmers and others to ensue their financial independence. The customers should wisely and judiciously utilise the loans and other facilities being extended by the bank, she said.

D. Somashekara Shastri, KGB president, said that his bank had been adjudged one of the best banks in the country.
