The State government has made all arrangements to administer polio vaccine to 75 lakh children aged less than five on January 19 and February 23.

As many as 18,341 sensitive areas have been identified in villages, towns and cities where children will be administered the vaccine.

Minister for Health and Family Welfare U.T. Khader told presspersons here on Friday that 31,782 booths would be set up for the purpose.

Steps have been taken to administer vaccine at bus stands, railway stations, and airports through mobile vans, he said.

Parents have been told to get their children vaccinated, even if the children have been given the vaccine several times earlier.
