Karnataka CM donates Rs. one cr for TN temple works

Karnataka Chief Minister B. S. Yeddyurappa has donated Rs. one crore towards renovation works at Sri Devanathaswamy Temple at Tiruvanthipuram in Cuddalore district.

Representing Mr. Yeddyurappa, Karnataka Commissioner for Religious and Charitable Endowments K. Ramanna Naik presented a demand draft to Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment (HR&CE) Minister K.R. Periakaruppan at Chennai, an official press release said.

The sum of Rs. one crore would be utilised towards works at the Swami Hayagreevar ‘Sannithi’ (sanctum sanctorum) in the temple, the release said.
