Kannada film festival in Belagavi from Thursday

Preparations are on for a nine-day Kannada film festival to be held here from Thursday. It is being organised by the Department of Information and Public Relations.

Six award-winning films would be screened. The entry will be free, according to Deputy Director of the department, Basavaraj Kambi.

The films to be screened are ‘Ingale Marga’, ‘Bharat Stores’, ‘Tallana’, ‘Kurmavatara’, ‘Allide Summane, ‘Illi Bande Summane’ and ‘Prasada’. The films would be screened at ‘Nartaki’, ‘Swaroop’, ‘Chitra’ and ‘Prakash talkies’. All the shows would be screened at 8.30 a.m.
