Kalaburagi students bag first prize

Two students of the Ceramic and Cement Technology Department in Poojya Dodappa Appa College of Engineering have done the college proud by securing the first place in national-level Technical Symposium Concert held at Alagappa College of Technology affiliated to Anna University in Chennai on March 21.

Principal of the college S.S. Hebbal, in a release here on Tuesday, said that Komalatha G. Naik, who presented research paper on ‘Bioceramic Silicate-Future Potential Orthopaedic Applications’, and Shwetha Kulkarni, presented participated in poster event on the topic ‘Quantitative Analysis of Materials by XRD’, have bagged first place.
