Kalaburagi continues to reel under severe heat wave

There seems to be no respite for the people of Hyderabad-Karnataka and Bombay-Karnataka regions from severe heat wave conditions what with the day time temperatures hovering above normal in a majority of places.

According to the readings recorded by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) at 8.30 a.m. on Saturday, Kalaburagi continued to reel under severe heat wave with maximum temperature of 41 degrees Celsius on Friday. Bidar and Raichur recorded an identical maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius, followed by Vijayapura with a maximum temperature of 39 degrees Celsius.

While Koppal recorded a maximum temperature of 37 degrees Celsius, followed by Gadag with 36 degrees Celsius, Belagavi Airport and Dharwad recorded maximum temperature of 34 degrees Celsius on Friday.

The night temperature also continued to be oppressive in Hyderabad Karnataka region with Raichur recording the state’s high minimum temperature of 29.8 degrees Celsius, while Bidar and Kalaburagi recorded minimum temperature of 28 degrees Celsius.
