Poornaprajna Amateur Astronomers’ Club (PAAC) will organise a sky-watch programme for watching planet Jupiter at the Department of Physics on the Poornaprajna College campus here on Tuesday and Wednesday.

In a press release issued here on Monday, A.P. Bhat, Head of Physics Department, Poornaprajna College, and coordinator of PAAC, said the planet reaches opposition and peak visibility on Tuesday (March 8). At opposition, the planet lies opposite to the Sun. It rises at sunset and sets at dawn. For details, call: 94483 09077.
