JD-S MLA moves HC seeking quashing of charge sheet against him

A JD-S MLA today moved the Karnataka High Court seeking quashing of the charge sheet filed against him and 13 others in connection with a highway robbery case.

The Kengeri police submitted the charge sheet in which the MLA, Zameer Ahmed, has been named as an accused, before a local court on February 9.

A merchant had lodged a complaint on October 30 last year alleging that he was robbed of Rs 50 lakh.
