Ahead of the Assembly elections to be held in May, the JD(S) released a list of its candidates for 126 Assembly constituency at the rally on Saturday, being the first party to do so in the State. In another first, the candidates were asked to take an oath to remain loyal to the party under “any circumstances” and serve the people in their respective constituency. Party leader and former Minister Basavaraj Horatti administered the oath .
