‘It’s advantage private players’

December 24, 2014 01:02 pm | Updated 01:02 pm IST - Bengaluru:

The problems with the KSRTC’s online ticket booking system over the past week has seen numerous customers migrating to private bus operators, according to ticket booking agencies in the city.

Khan Patel, president of the KSRTC Franchisee’s Association, said with the KSRTC servers being erratic and customers not being able to book seats either through travel agencies or through the website, it was the private operators who had benefitted.

Similarly, those running booking counters have said frustrated customers asked for tickets to be booked in a private bus.
