ISRO chairman to interact with rural students

The Chairman of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) A.S. Kirankumar will visit Chandan School in Laxmeshwar of Gadag district on March 16. During his visit the space agency chief will have an interaction with 10,000 students and teachers including students of various schools, engineering and degree colleges and teachers apart from the students of the host school.

Speaking to media, Founder of the School and Chairman of the Karnataka State Forest Industries Corporation (KSFIC) T. Eshwar said, “ISRO Chairman Mr A.S. Kirankumar would also be inaugurating mega exhibition ‘Chandrayana at Chandanotsava’ the focused on the Moon Mission

The exhibition focusing on moon mission would be spread over an area of one acre and it would have exhibits, photographs on Moon Mission sent by ISRO. The mega exhibition will go on till March 24 and it will be open for public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Further Mr Eshwar said that students of class VIII, IX and X would be provided an opportunity to visit ISRO by participating in a quiz.
