IPS officers transferred in Karnataka

M.N. Reddi, Director-General of Police, has been appointed the new State intelligence chief, in the upgraded post.

Seven other IPS officers have also been transferred. Neelamani N. Raju, Director-General of Police, Internal Security, Bengaluru, has been placed in the concurrent charge of the post of Director-General of Police and Commandant General, Home Guards, and Ex-officio Director, Fire Force, Bengaluru.

Rajvir Pratap Sharma, has been given the additional charge of ADGP, Bengaluru Metropolitan Task Force.

Prashant Kumar Thakur, is the new Additional Director-General of Police, Forest Cell, Bengaluru.

B. Dayananda, IGP, Intelligence, Bengaluru, has been transferred and posted as Inspector-General of Police and Commissioner, Transport and Road Safety, Bengaluru.

N. Chaitra, Superintendent of Police, Chickballapur district, has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Railways, Bengaluru.

Ram Niwas Sepat, Commandant, First Battalion, Karnataka State Reserve Police, Bengaluru, has been transferred and appointed as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Crimes, Bengaluru.

Anoop A. Shetty, accoding to a press release, Superintendent of Police, Railways, Bengaluru, has been transferred as Superintendent of Police, Chickballapur district.
