II PU re-examination passes off on a smooth note

The re-exam for the II PU chemistry paper passed off without any report of malpractices in Kalaburagi and Yadgir districts on Tuesday.

There were 44 examination centres in Kalaburagi district and 9,423 students appeared for the exam.

Officials in-charge of the examination centres checked the students before they were allowed to enter the examination hall.

There were 14 examination centres in Yadgir district and 1,228 students appeared for the exam.

M.S. Yalagi, Deputy Director of Pre University Education, Yadgir, told The Hindu that 1,274 students had registered for the exam and 46 were absent.
