ICSE 2016: Karnataka pass percentage higher than All-India average

Students from Karnataka, both - ICSE students (class ten) and class ISC (class 12) have outdone their counterparts across the country as the pass percentage in both categories is higher than the All-India average.

In the ICSE examination, students from the State secured a pass per cent of 99.77, which is more than the all-India average of 98.50 per cent. The ISC pass percentage of Karnataka stands at 99.72 per cent, above the all-India average of 96.46 per cent. While 14,130 students appeared for the ICSE exam, 1,418 students appeared for the ISC exam in Karnataka.

Maintaining the annual trend every year, Girls in Karnataka have done better than boys in the ISC as well ICSE examinations.
