Minister for Sericulture A. Manju has said he had not put pressure on Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for transfer of Hassan Deputy Commissioner Rohini Sindhuri.
He told presspersons at Shravanabelgola on Wednesday that the government transferred her for administrative reasons. “I had no differences with the officer over Mahamastakabhisheka related works”, he said.
Reacting to former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda's allegation, Mr. Manju said, “Deve Gowda is a senior politician. His comment should match his seniority. Did his son H.D. Revanna take cuts in development works during the last Mahamastakabhisheka when he was Minister in-charge of the district?"he asked.
