Laxmi Hebbalkar, Congress MLA, has clarified that her comments about MLC Jaimala’s eligibility to become a Minister were misunderstood.

“I had said Ms. Jaimala had impressed Congress leaders with her service and that helped her join the Cabinet. But it seems she has misunderstood me. Whenever I was organising a party programme, she was the first person I called,” Ms. Hebbalkar told presspersons here.
