Home Minister K.J. George has said that the government has taken all necessary measures to prevent any possible terror strike in the State. He was speaking to presspersons at a private airstrip near Basapur village in Koppal district.

“Important installations and tourist destinations across the State have been put on red alert following the arrest of Indian Mujahideen (IM) founder Yasin Bhatkal and his associate,” the Minister said.

Responding to a statement made by the former Deputy Chief Minister K.S. Eshwarappa that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was a “lottery Chief Minister”, Mr. George said, “It shows how desperate Mr. Eshwarappa is.”
