H.D. Kumaraswamy hospitalised

Former Chief Minister and JD(S) president H.D. Kumaraswamy has been admitted to Vikram Hospital with complaints of fever, flu and chest congestion.

Dr. K.S. Satish, who is treating Mr. Kumaraswamy, told The Hindu that he is responding well to treatment and his condition is stable now. “He contracted a viral infection while he was on a two-day tour of Mysuru. He was admitted on Thursday and he is recuperating. He will be discharged in a day or two,” the doctor said.
