The South Western Railway Passenger’s Committee has thanked the Railway Board and Railway Ministry for changing the departure timings of Train no. 16577/16578 Harihar – Yeshwantpur Tri-Weekly Express based on the appeal of the committee.

The departure time of the said train from Harihar initially was 5 a.m. and from Davangere was 5.13 a.m. The committee had recently written a letter in this regard and based on the request has changed the timings. The revised timings of the train would be departure from Harihar at 6.15 a.m. and from Davangere at 6.30 a.m., so that it can reach Yeshwantpur at 12.30 p.m. With th enew timings, the train is likely to see more patronage as the change will also prove beneficial to businessmen, students and farmers as the previous timing did not benefit the public at large, according to a press release.
