H1N1 claims four lives in Mysuru district

H1N1 has claimed the lives of four persons in Mysuru district, according to secretary in-charge of Mysuru district and Principal Secretary (Public Works) M.R. Kamble.

Presiding over a district-level progress review meeting here on Wednesday, he said 96 cases had been reported from the district and 23 in Mysuru city alone. He asked officials of the Department of Health and Family Welfare to take up a campaign in the district to spread awareness on H1N1 and water-borne diseases.
