Govt. slammed for ‘insensitivity’

Pratap Simha, Bharatiya Janata Party MP from Mysore, on Wednesday lashed out at the State government for not consulting Pramoda Devi, wife of late Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar, on conducting Dasara festivities on the palace premises. Speaking to presspersons here, Mr. Simha said even though a year was not over since Mr. Wadiyar’s death, the government has decided to hold festivities at the palace. “Instead of solving the problem, the government has adopted a confrontational approach with Ms. Pramoda Devi,” he alleged.
