A 15-year-old girl was found unconscious near the railway track at Cherukunnu in the Kannapuram police station limits here on Sunday.
The police team that reached the spot on being alerted rushed her to the Pariyaram Medical College Hospital where she regained consciousness after treatment. She has minor injuries on her head and abdomen. According to the police, she has been identified as the daughter of a Bengaluru-based couple. The Railway Protection Force got in touch with her parents and they were on their way to the hospital.
